Murkromancer officially announced as the BlizzCon 2017 virtual ticket D3 reward. There's a note on the page:

No one escapes the aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle! Rumor has it this necrotic, aquatic companion can command an army of dead fish, which is about as useful as you’d think.

Are we going to be able to see the pet in-game before it stops being sold? If he really can command an army of dead fish, I'd like to see it first.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure this was flavor text, but I'll find out for certain.

Update: Verified that, while the Murkromancer is cute AF and has some similarly adorable animations, none of them are specifically of dead fish. That was purely blog flavor text. Apologies for any confusion!
