Just started playing Diablo, any tips?

Just started playing Diablo 3 Monday, kind of new to everything, at level 30 right now. Anything I need to know about the game, what you can do, where can you go. I mostly play World of Warcraft but I hear Diablo is much different, just wanted to check it out. Let me know what I can do to become less of a noob :)

There's some great advice in here, but this is definitely my favorite. Exploration is a big part of Diablo, both of the world and of your character's abilities. Be sure to try out a variety of things until you feel more settled in!
