Jondar loot bug

After Jondar's conversation with the templar, he turns hostile for a moment before the templar stabs him, if a PC hits Jondar while he's hostile (I assume getting the "killing blow"), Jondar either drops no loot at all or just a health globe.

Anybody else want to see if they can reproduce this? I've done it about half a dozen times to make sure it wasn't just random bad luck, but I know this reads like somebody looking for patterns in an RNG, so somebody else should replicate the result.
