I thought the legendaries were meant to be recognized?

I remember Blizzard people saying they wanted to bring the feeling of seeing an amazing legendary items so players could say: "Nice! This guy has this amazing item that's very rare and powerful".

How is that possible if we can change the appareances of any items we have (once we unlock them)?

I'm not sure I like that, but at the same time, I have the feeling that after a while in RoS, all my gear would be made of legendaries, so no point of having transmogrification if I don't wear rare items...

Still, I liked seeing the Mempo look when I had one, or the Natalya's weird owl look when I wear one. I just go with it.

While visual recognition is cool, we think that giving players some control over how their characters look is more important in the long run. I know some of my barbarian friends who have been wearing Hammer Jammers with Ice Climbers agree. Do you think that visual recognition is more important than the ability to look the way you want? We're definitely interested in everyone's feedback, so let us know what you think about it.
