Ground Stomp add Fury after Leap out of comba

When I'm out of combat I presume that it's correct for the Barbarian to not gain Fury spamming his generating skills with no mosters around, but if I do a Leap and then a Ground Stomp I currently gain 15 Fury. Is it correct or is it a bug? I post a sample screenshot: http://i43.tinypic.com/dn1z5f.jpg

You gain Fury as long as you hit or destroy something, either a monster or a destructible object. Simply using the skill does not generate Fury.
