The world of Sanctuary is a BIG place, defended by hundreds of thousands of heroes each and every day. To help you get to know some of these fellow nephalem a little better, we've created the Fresh Meat N' Greet.

The Fresh Meet N' Greet is a recurring series of interviews featuring you, our community. A few times each month, we'll sit down and chat with six different community members, one for each class, and then post our Q&As right here in these forums.

Up this week for Wizards: GunnersDream#1109

Read on below to find out more about your fellow ally in battle!

[GENERAL INFO]

Grimiku: Tell us a bit about yourself.

GunnersDream#1109: I'm a long time java developer, married and the father of two young kids. My oldest son is severely handicapped (still love him to death), so my playtime is mostly solo because I have to pause my game frequently. Wish I could play in groups more, but I feel bad having to quit the game suddenly.

Grimiku: Got any cool hobbies or talents?

GunnersDream#1109: My hobbies are mostly programming and gaming related, although I used to be heavily into online poker. That turned into too much of a chore (felt like a second job), so I gave it up. I'm not sure it's a talent, but after playing so many multi-table poker games, I can split my focus pretty well. This lent itself well to my new passion - multiboxing in Diablo 3! Since I regularly can't play in groups, this is the next best thing.

Grimiku: What is your history as a gamer, and with the Diablo franchise?

GunnersDream#1109: I've been playing since the original Diablo, when a buddy of mine told me they were making a "real time Angband." Angband is a roguelike I have been hooked on for years.

Grimiku: What are some of your favorite games?

GunnersDream#1109: The original Legend of Zelda, Angband, Team Fortress 2, Baldur's Gate 2, and Diablo 2 I would say are my top 5 all time games.

Grimiku: Are you playing any other classes right now?

GunnersDream#1109: I regularly play Monk, Demon Hunter, and Witch Doctor as well as Wizard. Never played much Barbarian (plan to this patch!) and only some Crusader as a support build.

Grimiku: Are you in a clan? If yes, tell us about it!

GunnersDream#1109: Vizjerei - REALLY cool folks

Grimiku: What's your most embarrassing moment while playing?

GunnersDream#1109: Auto salvaging my minimum damage ring :(

Grimiku: Okay, what about your most AWESOME moment while playing?

GunnersDream#1109: I've completed a few Greater Rifts at the one second mark, and that is exhilarating.

[I'M JUST WARMING UP]

Grimiku: What drew you to the Wizard?

GunnersDream#1109: I usually play a spell caster and really liked the Wizard's skill aesthetics.

Grimiku: In displaying your battle prowess, do you prefer to burn, electrocute, or freeze your foes? Or do you prefer a mixture of destructive elemental energies?

GunnersDream#1109: Probably electrocute, but playing the same set of skills all the time gets stale, so I definitely like to change it up.

Grimiku: What's your favorite skill (or skill rune), and why?

GunnersDream#1109: Black Hole. Coolest looking skill in the game in my opinion, with a super awesome effect. That cooldown, though...

Grimiku: What build are you running currently?

GunnersDream#1109: 2.2 Tal Rasha, and Delrasha (6 piece Tal + 4 piece DMO) For non-Wizard builds, the Monk SWK Flurry build is epic with the new CoE ring.

Grimiku: Is there a particular item you’re after, and how would it change the way you play if you found it?

GunnersDream#1109: Only ancient versions really at this point.

Grimiku: If there was one thing you could change about the Wizard, what would it be?

GunnersDream#1109: Allow a way for channeling skills to be viable at the highest tier GR

Grimiku: If you could build a set and/or Legendary item around a skill, what skill would it be and how would you support it?

GunnersDream#1109: Channeling set that would be for Ray of Frost, Disintegrate, Arcane Torrent, and Electrocute. I would allow it to it's damage significantly quicker so you wouldn't have to hold your ground as that is tantamount to suicide in higher Greater Rifts. I would also love it if it worked similar to Tal Rasha's in that one of the set bonuses merged all the channeling skills you had on your bar, so that you could send out a beam that slowed like Ray of Frost, penetrated like Disintegrate, and sent stunning bolts out like Chain Lightning. Probably would be too many effects, though.

Grimiku: Pick a Wizard quote!

GunnersDream#1109: "You dare to attack me?" The only quote I can even think of. Both the male and female Wizard voices are annoying :) Male Witch Doctor, though, is terrific.

Grimiku: Name one piece of advice that you think every Wizard should know.

GunnersDream#1109: Map shift left click to a keyboard button, use Force Move key, then never use left click again unless you are in town or need to click on a door.

[WHO'S NEXT?]

Grimiku: Which of your fellow Wizards should we also interview?

GunnersDream#1109: Yodatoy. I would be hard pressed to think of a more entertaining forum poster.

Grimiku: Pick a question to ask in the next interview:

GunnersDream#1109: What would be one thing you would change about Diablo 3 in general?

Grimiku: “dolynick: What spell do you think is missing from your wizard’s arsenal?”

GunnersDream#1109: Frozen Orb. I know it's technically there, but it greatly needs reverting back to RoS launch radius and needs a damage buff (or massive AP reduction.)
