Frenzy, holding mouse1 versus spamming(x-post

I have been doing a lot of Frenzying during my many months in the beta and have just come across the fact that, with Frenzy, I can attack noticeably faster with the 5-stack 75% attack speed buff spam clicking rather than holding down the mouse button on a target.

If this is intended, do you want me to break my fingers?
If not, you got time to try for yourself and fix it!
