First playthrough, bugs/feedback list

I can hopefully provide more detail if need be. I'm guessing most or all of these are known. But maybe this can help with prioritization.



Brief hitching during combat on occasion is probably the worst thing. Seems to happen upon abilities hitting sometimes, maybe more often with a lot of enemies. It's not long, just a frame or two that are much longer than usual. Happened with Leoric when using the monk's Roundhouse kick.

EDIT: Just got a repro on my 2nd character, Wizard. Right after attacking a pile of undead after the barricade falls leaving the town as the damage text is showing up. Was longer this time, like a 500ms hitch. eww.
EDIT2: Seems to happen when using a new ability the first time. Maybe related to lazy loading resources for the effects for the spell.

Occasionally my character will teleport to a previous location when pathing around collision/edges of objects. I think I saw a monster do this once too.

Visibility issues around the stairs in Cathedral 4 with shield skeletons. They pop in and out of visibility when clearly they should be visible. The stairs were to the northwest of me, going upwards northeast.

"You have an empty equipment slot" tutorial tip when I have nothing to equip in an empty slot yet over and over and over.

Manglemaw miniboss thing that attacked me in Defiled Crypt going for the crown trapped me in the doorway it burst through until I killed it.

Hitch on first levelup in Inn

No loading screen, but game briefly appears frozen when zoning. Maybe have some animated UI element.

Got the right mouse attack tooltip twice, again after closing it.

As a monk I hold weapons, but all my abilities are punches/kicks that make the weapons go away/holstered for the animation. Seems a bit silly to have these weapons I carry yet never seem to use.

Framerate seems to occasionally dip, seemingly when i enter new areas and more of the area loads in the background.

Alt-tab performs well, with the exception of object pop-in on returning to the game

The blacksmith doesn't seem to care that much that he just had to kill his wife. Some of the dialog in the game could use improvement to be able to taken more seriously. D2 dialog I recall being more well written... but then again, I was younger back then.

Can knock bodies into flowing river, but they don't float away. That would be pretty amazing polish.

Map icons/pins pop-out when near the edge of the minimap.

I can't bind stone of recall to my hotbar?

Pages of training shouldn't be a white item. Their text on the ground should stand out with alt using another color.

Is there a way to get the currently equipped comparison window to compare to my follower's currently equipped item? Like holding a modifier key as I can do to compare against my offhand.






Overall, looking good! Love the environments, they feel very alive especially with the destructible stuff everywhere.

Hey Armchair, thanks for the long post!

In the future, when posting bugs, I'm going to ask you to please post one bug per thread. This will help me track issues better since one thread with 10 bugs in it will just become one bug on my list. It will also help me not miss any bugs.

Since most of this is Feedback, I am going to move this to the Beta Feedback forums. If you would like to copy-paste your bugs and post new threads about them in the Bug Report forums, I'd love to read them :)
