Error 315300 incorrect username/password

After downloading patch 13 I notice that if I type in my email and password and try to login and after it gives me the error about servers down I close the program.

If I restart diablo 3 again it has my email saved so I just type in my password but get error 315300 for incorrect username and password. The problem is it created a space in front of the saved email address. After deleting the space I get the regular server down error, which is expected.

I can recreate this error 315300 everytime by closing and opening diablo 3.

Anyone else getting the same thing?

Good morning guys,

Sorry for the late response, the US office was closed yesterday. As you have probably figured out, this issue is mainly affecting non-US users like EU and TW. As Bashiok said in his Twitter post, we are aware of this issue and are working on it, but right now we have no ETA on a fix.

Some things you should stop doing:
1. Changing your password.
2. Changing your e-mail address.

What you can try doing in the meantime:
1. Try old passwords.
2. Try old e-mail addresses.

If none of that works, please try the steps listed in this user's thread. He was able to fix the problem for himself by renaming his Battle.net Cache folder, causing Diablo III to make a brand new one. DO NOT DELETE THE BATTLE.NET CACHE FOLDER :)

Other than that, I don't have anything for you. I'll keep you posted as soon as I get information.

I'm sorry those workarounds didn't work :( Just wanted to let you know that I forwarded this directly to our Battle.net developers. They are aware of the issue, but I wanted to let them know that this issue is pretty wide-spread.

Thank you for your patience. I don't know how often I'll be able to touch base with you, but I hope to do it at least one more time before the end of my work day.

Hey guys,

As a reminder, please try my workarounds. I saw a few players report they had the issue without trying the workaround, as well as others saying they got in when using an old email address.

It's been 3 days, and we haven't really received much info about what's happening with this bug. What gives? =/

Three days? I replied yesterday....

I'm not gonna read through all these pages to see if this is in here, but this happened to me and I quickly realized that for some reason a space was being entered at the end of my email. Definitely check and erase the space if its there, worked for me.
Note there was no reason for the space to be in there

Apochx, good eye. Does anyone else have Apochx's problem with an extra space being added?

Hey guys,

So I just got word that a potential fix has been pushed to Battle.net. However, because of the nature of this fix, it's going to take a couple hours for the fix to really do its thing.

I'd recommend taking a nice break from the forums and Beta. Come back in a few hours and let me know if it's still giving you issues.

Alright guys, good news and bad news. Let's do bad news first.

As most of you know by now, you still cannot log in. I just got word from the Battle.net team that the issue is bigger than we thought and is affecting players from all regions, not just EU. US and TW are affected as well.

Here's the good news: since the bigger issue has been discovered, it shouldn't take too much longer for us to fix. Thanks to you, we were able to isolate the issue and finish up the "research" phase of this bug. I cannot give an ETA on the fix, but it will hopefully be resolved soon.

Again, thank you very much for your patience. I really mean it. I'm sorry that the news isn't that the issue is fixed right now, but at least you can pat yourselves on the back for helping us debug this critical bug.

As an addendum, the bug is an issue with our servers, not because of your account or your game. Please halt you reinstalling and password changing :)
