1) will the experience and paragon levels currently on dead characters count towards 2.0?
2) if so, will archived characters and "dead" characters (still taking up a character slot) both count?
3) if i have 2 WDs, is it only the highest level that counts? or will the both count towards paragon 2.0 (credit to hojoking for thinking of this)
i think many of us feel these need answers as soon as possible. this is because it affects how we approach hardcore (which is obviously serious business :P :P). for example, a friend of mine has a dead paragon 100 that he has not archived. right now that is taking up a character slot. however if he were to archive that character, only to find out the xp no longer counts, thats 100-200 hours down the drain. normally we would all say "suck it up this is HC" but since we no longer will lose XP on death, it stands to reason this should be retroactive.
another scenario is; i have a paragon 100 WD. while i love the MF, is it really worth it for me to risk playing it and lose all my xp? i made a new WD and tried a new build for fun (and to level again), but i think many would forego playing a p100 right now if they knew the xp would not apply retroactively.
thank you for your time and consideration. we may not always feel we receive a lot of attention, but we recognize HC is a small community of passionate players, and we definitely appreciate how blizzard has helped us in the past.
