Combine EU and US Forums?

Hey fellow US Nephalem(s).
Recently,I started to become more active on forums,and that made me wonder,why are those 2 forums seperated?
As a dedicated monk and wizard I wanted to share my ideas with both communities,and to listen to other people's ideas as well,I find it uncomfortable to swing between US and EU all the time,and inefficient to post same threads on both forums.
As both of the realms write in english(sorry for my typos,as native english speakers you must have spotted a few) I do not see any reason for that seperation.And also,I think merging the realms will give us a better sense of unity as a D3 community.
Any thoughts?

And also,very important,I believe that we EU players deserves the same attention and close contact and same treatment as US players gets from the CMs Devs,as we both share the same passion for this game,and speak the same language.
And as proof,look what happend here,I posted this thread here and 20 minutes after got a response from a CM,nothing like that ever happend to me on the EU forums,threads left for days with no one looking at them,most of the EU posters are already posting on US..
Thats where the community is at.

This is something we've debated internally quite often, though we've always erred on the side of keeping our US English-speaking community and our EU English-speaking community separate (if not simply because that's how our forums currently operate).

Given that this is something that's not set in stone, it seems like a fair discussion topic open up to players. There's definitely pros and cons to both options, but if you had a choice what would you prefer? Would you like a shared English forum (US + EU), or are you content with the current system (where US English and EU English forums are separate)?

If you do weigh in, be sure to back up your preference with why you'd want one option over the other.
