In my way to the Matriarch, with the Witch Doctor, I got a White Buckler with an armor rating way above the expected. It is a Thick Buckler with Armor 44, +15% chance to block, blocks 6-10 damage. Since it is Thick, the game lists it with +2 armor, meaning it has 42 base armor. Considering all other items of the same level, 42 armor is a lot, so I think it is probably a bug.
