Battletags and RealID (real names displaying)

When I send people friend invites the invite comes from my actual name on my account, not my battletag. It also pops up on hover over my character in the upper left of the UI on hover.

I have RealID disabled because I do not want my name associated with games. My name should not be shown anywhere at all in game or social panels unless I turn that on. I want my battletag shown and that is all, my real name should not be popping up to people I send friend invites.

This isn't a little thing, this is an account privacy bug. A huge one.

Fix this.

Hi Evelmike,

The two RealID bugs that you are talking about (showing your real name to yourself in the party UI, and your real name being sent when you send a BattleTag friend request) should have been fixed on March 16 with Patch 15. Are these still happening? If they are, please upload a screenshot showing the issue with your real name painted out.

Thank you!

This is no longer a thread about a bug. Everyone here is having issues understanding how the Real ID system works.
