Auction House Woes

A little bit ago I tried to make my first purchase off of the Auction house with the 'money' we were given to spend.

I went ahead and tried to buy out the item, which was within my range, and the money POOFED, I assumed I had 'bought' my gear, but when I went to completed I was informed that I had been outbid, yet the money still wasn't gone.

Unsure if this is a known bug, but it is something that should probably be handled before it is released so people's RL money doesn't just "poof" away.
