Another Character Wipe?

Does this mean another character wipe?

Shouldn't be! We're not currently planning to wipe characters with this patch.

If that changes for any reason, however, we'll definitely let you know.

They wiped last patch to change data structures. Dunno what reasoning they used to wipe prior to that.

Core changes to class skills and game mechanics, the introduction of the currency-based Auction House, and the addition of Achievements are the big ones. Plus, of course, the database changes you mentioned.

There are a number of really good reasons for us to do a character wipe in a test environment like the beta. Even so, we'll always try to give you a heads up when we do. :)
