I've seen a few threads that suggest already know plans should grant a free craft. While I think the idea has some serious potential I don't think that completely free would work. Another idea is already known plans could grant a craft at greatly reduced cost, like 1/3 of the cost. For example: if you have a few infernal machine plans you could craft a machine for 1 random key by right clicking the plan at the blacksmith.
